The Africa Information & Communication Technologies Alliance (AfICTA) has announced the results of its recent Board elections, welcoming a new group of elected officers and directors who will contribute to the Alliance’s leadership and continued work in advancing Africa’s digital development.
The newly elected officers and directors are:
- Chair-elect: Dr. Segun Olugbile - Nigeria
- Deputy Chair-elect: Waddah Fadul - Sudan
- Vice-Chair, East Africa-elect: Ms. Rachael Shitanda - Kenya
- Treasurer: Mr. Ambali, Joseph Oluwatimilehin - Nigeria
- National Coordinator, Nigeria: Mr. Inye Kemabonta - Nigeria
- Director: Ms. Tigist Awoke - Ethiopia
- Director: Mr. Eric Kouam - Senegal
- Director: Dr. Robinson Tombari Sibe -Nigeria
The election marks another step in strengthening AfICTA’s leadership and its commitment to promoting ICT development, policy engagement, collaboration and digital transformation across Africa.
