People eligible for this award are those that demonstrate contribution to their local communities through technology or advocacy I respect to development of commodity networks, community media, information society at the under served and urban level thereby fufilling the promise of the digital age in Africa.
Persons who demonstrate contribution to the development in the local communities through skill transfer or by products that tackle specific problems in those communities.
