Dr Peter Major (Hungary) Chair of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD), announced Dr Jimson Olufuye, Chair Africa ICT Alliance - AfICTA, as a member of the CSTD Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation. Dr Major made his decision Pursuant to UN GA resolution 70/125 which requests the Chair of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development through the Economic and Social Council, to establish a working group to develop recommendations on how to further implement enhanced cooperation and on the basis of the notes dated the 26 January 2016 and 3 March 2016 and the consultations undertaken in this context.
