UNECA/Alibaba/Ant Financial Livestream : Leveraging Technology in Assisting African Countries in the Fight Against COVID-19

UNECA and Ant Financial will co-host a live stream session entitled "leveraging technology in assisting African countries in the fight against Covid-19" on Thursday 23th April from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm ( Addis time ). The session will be conducted by Dr Vera Songwe, Executive Secretary of UNECA, Mr. Brian Wong, VP of Alibaba Group and Mr. Eric Jin, Executive Chairman of Ant Financial and Member of the UNECA Digital Centre of Excellence Advisory Board. The session begins with sharing experiences in using technologies to fight Codiv-19 and support economic recovery by UNECA, Alibaba and Ant Financial; to be followed by a panel debate.
