UNECA, African Union Commission and ITU ( Regional Office for Africa) will co-host a livestream session entitled " African WSIS Implementation Meeting on "COVID-19: A Catalyst to Achieving WSIS Outcome " as part of the WSIS Forum 2020 today, Monday 31st August 2020 from 10.00 am to 11.00 pm (GMT) .
The objective of this livestream session is to bring together key main actors in the ICT sector across the continent to discuss within the Covid-19 context how we can fully improve the digital framework in the continent and to showcase best practices and innovative solution developed on how African countries are implementing the WSIS Action Lines in the attainment of the of the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union Agenda 2063.

Dans le cadre du Forum SMSI 2020, la CEA, la Commission de l'Union africaine et l'UIT (Bureau régional pour l'Afrique) co-organiseront une session en ligne intitulée «Réunion africaine sur la mise en œuvre du SMSI avec comme thématique « COVID-19: un catalyseur pour atteindre les résultats du SMSI ». La réunion aura lieu le lundi 31 août de 10h00 à 11h00 (GMT).
L'objectif de cette session est de rassembler les principaux acteurs clés du secteur des TIC à travers le continent pour discuter dans le contexte de Covid-19 comment nous pouvons pleinement améliorer le cadre numérique sur le continent et présenter les meilleures pratiques et solutions innovantes sur la manière dont les pays africains mettent en œuvre les lignes d'action du SMSI pour atteindre les objectifs de développement durable de l'Agenda 2030 et l'Agenda 2063 de l'Union africaine.
