The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is pleased to announce that the ICANN 2022 DNS Symposium (IDS) will be held in person 15–16 November 2022 in Brussels, Belgium. Cybercriminals are now targeting online users through the add-ons that pop up on their digital screens with experts warning that threats have risen over 59 percent in the first half of this year compared to the whole of 2021.

Malawi: Airtel will Invest Despite Volatile Kwacha

Airtel said it will continue to invest in its Malawian mobile phone unit despite currency weakness in the southern African country.
In the half-year period to end June, costs for Airtel Malawi increased by 199% as a result of 25% devaluation in the Malawian Kwacha. After-tax profits declined by 21.5%, which the company attributed to a worsening foreign exchange position as a direct result of devaluation.
