AfICTA Signs  MoU with ACT USA

AfICTA - Africa ICT Alliance has finalized all the process with signing a memorandum of understanding with ACT (Association for Competitive Technology) - the App Association, an association that represents more than 5,000 app companies and information technology firms across the mobile economy. The process took 2 months as both parties reviewed the benefits that the mutual collaboration tends to bring.

The MoU aims at establishing collaborative efforts towards achieving AfICTA and ACT common objective of advocacy at the public level to the realization of the SDGs by 2030. The MoU would have both parties work on a public-private partnership that would enhance and provide policies aimed at providing an enabling environment for ICT to thrive effectively in Africa and beyond.

ACT | The App Association (ACT) which is  located  @ Washington DC, in United States  advocates for an environment that inspires and rewards innovation, while providing the necessary resources to help their members to leverage their intellectual assets to raise capital, create jobs, and continue innovating, and Africa Information & Communication Technologies Alliance (AfICTA) is located in Abuja, Nigeria is a concerned private sector led alliance of ICT Associations, Multi-national Corporations, Companies, Organizations and individuals in the ICT sector in Africa with membership in more than 30-Nations in Africa including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Namibia, Ethiopia, Cote d'Ivoire, Tanzania, and Rwanda.
