The 2014 African Growth Through Technology Summit (AGTTS)

agtts

The 2014 African Growth Through Technology Summit (AGTTS) will attempt to bring the public and private sector together over a three day period (5th, 6th and 7th of March 2014) to discuss, educate and showcase the possibilities and determine ways in which Africa can achieve its technology ambitions through private business.

The Summit is a three day long event where different groups from a diverse array of backgrounds and industries can come together to discuss experiences and determine a concrete methodology that can be used by the public sector, NGOs and other businesses, to engage private technology companies to achieve concrete results and success through mutually beneficial alliances. The proposed theme is: FOCUSING PRIVATE BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT INVESTMENTS TO CONVERT EXISTING TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT INTO A NATIONAL RESOURCE THAT WILL OPEN LARGE MARKETS TO CREATE A NEW SUSTANABLE EXPORT SECTOR FOR AFRICAN COUNTRIES. This summit is long overdue and the time for it is now. The spot light is on Africa and the world is looking to Africa to drive the next 20 years of growth. African's must cash in and compete at the end of this.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” — Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela our hero, a man whose past and efforts would be remembered for life. A life spent selflessly, not for himself but for all, including generations unborn.

A model for selfless leadership and boundless affection for humanity. A heart voluntarily made heavy to lighten the burden of his people.

We celebrate a life profitably spent to the benefit of all, for the freedom of not only South Africans but the world at large, a noticeable model for greatness and unlimited impacts.

AfICTA Board, Members and Staff  live to remember his words, his works and most importantly his everyday life; his steps, his decisions, his forgiving heart, his unlimited affection for humanity, regardless of look and race.

Nelson Mandela lives on. What a gift to humanity, Madiba!
